• daniel mostyn - director

  Daniel Mostyn, owner and director of Dirty Girl by Daniel Mostyn, initially trained and worked in Sydney salons, early on in his career. He completed his training at some of most prestigious academies in Paris, France and the highly reputable Vidal Sassoon School in London.

  By the age of 22, Daniel was working as Art Director at a high-end, West End salon in London.

  Daniel has represented established brands in hairdressing, both for publicity and shows. His work has also seen the pages of editorial magazines and runway shows for designers, both in Australia and London.

  Aiming to excel in all areas of the industry, Daniel studied salon management and services extensively in Los Angeles and New York. He also studied in tertiary adult education courses internationaly to equip himself as professional trainer.

  At the age of 25, Daniel opened the doors of Dirty Girl by Daniel Mostyn, providing hair design and consultancy services to the people of Sydney and beyond, as well as international "star" clients, one being soul singing sensation, the beautiful Alicia Keys (New York).

  Recently wrapping a tour of London, Paris, LA and New York with Alicia Keys, Daniel is in talks with various salons regarding further exciting projects for the Dirty Girl Empire in New York this year.

  Daniel has his pulse strongly connected to international trends and techniques, which he brings to his clientele, cementing him as a true talent within the industry.

  Daniel is now represented by leading PR firm, umm..communications - watch this space.

• jane - art director/brand manager

  The art director / brand manager of dirty girl by Daniel Mostyn, the first stylist to have completed all training under the direction of Daniel Mostyn. Jane has been a driving force behind the brand from day 1, five years ago and continues to be instrumental in the art direction of new techniques and collections brought to the client and for the on- floor strategy of the brand. Jane Is well known for finding the true direction of any client through deep educational consultations. She also specialises in short hair and strong colour directional advice.

• dee - front house manager and executive assistant

  The front of house manager and executive assistant to Daniel Mostyn Dee comes from a managerial and PR background. She is a strong force on the front of house as well as supporting the direction of Daniel Mostyn. She exerts professionalism over a client's welcome and ensures each and every client is put on the right path for a very strong hair journey. She is the one to book your next appointment or book your restaurant for that evening out. Dee is a remarkable manager of both the clients experience and the reputation of dirty girl by Daniel Mostyn.

• shayma - head stylist

  The head stylist of dirty girl by Daniel Mostyn, Shayma is very active in the direction of assistant training and development, taking them through the in-house developed two year curriculum. Shayma is one ball of passion and intensity, equipped with an arsenal of drive and deep understanding of what a woman really wants and needs form her hair. Her specialty is bobs.

  Congratulations to Kath and shayma ..for becoming the dirty girls apprentice trainer, Kath's and shayma's role is to build and maintain the intense curriculum that takes a dirty girl apprentice from zero to dirty hero, once Kath and shyma have taken the apprentices through there 3 year program they will sit the dirty girl exams to pass and move onto the floor, with Kath and shyma in charge of the Direction, the young future of dirty girl is in very good hands...

• dan - designer

  Dan is a designer at dirty girl by Daniel Mostyn. Dan has relocated from Scotland to be a part of the dirty girl crew. Dan brings with him international experience from all over the UK, Dan is new to the dirty girl team and brings a lot of new directions and positive spirit to the crew. He specialises in strong communication, long dirty glam and short textured la femme.

  Congratulations to dan, though pure talent and raw ambition he has been promoted to designer at dirty girl by daniel mostyn, Dan is now the head colour trainer of the brand and ensures all colour work is committed to being on trend and of high brand quality, stay tuned.

  Dan also just completed a sexy shoot for an Australian designer ...this will be posted soon ...dan thanks his clientele for there loyalty and for allowing him be the strong stylist he loves to be!
